Metallic Expansion Joints – Axial

More Info

Axial expansion joints are normally made with a single bellows.

They allow to absorb the movements of the pipes in the axial direction and within limits also lateral and angular movements.
These joints don’t resist to the thrust pressure.

Normally used in line to absorb moderate movements in function of the pipe diameter and pressure which have to resist, splitting up the line in more sections based on the stroke of the joints themselves.

They can also be made with bellows in stainless steel or special alloys depending of the use as 316 Ti, AISI 310, HASTELLOY, INCONEL, AVESTA 904L, MONEL 400, INCOLOY, etc.. and with ends in materials such as CORTEN, A335 P11, A333 Gr.6 and others upon request.
